Haris Hadzihalilovic

Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Haris was a local standout athlete at Brophy College Prep. While at Brophy, Haris was a two-time participant in the National High School All-American tournament competing in both singles and doubles, finishing 4th in the nation in 2001. Haris also won 5A State Doubles Championship and 2 5A Team State Championships playing at the # 1 position.

Haris also represented the Southwest Section in the USTA Boys 18’s Junior Davis Cup. Haris continued his career at Scottsdale Community College, earning All-American honors at # 1 position and second place in doubles at national championship. He also finished ranked #11 in the country in singles. Haris was also recruited to play for Arizona State University, where he earned a bachelors degree from W.P. Carey School of Business in Finance.

Since college, Haris has been teaching in the valley at private and public racquet clubs with well-known pros, working with beginners to highly competitive juniors and adults. Haris is currently rated 5.0 and competes in prize money tournaments.
